Gateway Community College
Gateway Community College in New Haven, Connecticut opened a new campus in September of 2012 that featured a multi-story, indoor, pedestrian walkway. The walkway presented a unique opportunity to display an art project not only to the people who use the walkway, but the cars passing below. Cameron McNall and his California-based company, Electroland, conceived and designed a more than 30′ by 30′ LED screen that projects into the street as well as onto the walkway. The screen was created with custom-made FlexiFlex panels and displays the faces of those who study, teach and work at the school.
